WCVB: Colleen Ritzer’s family: ‘Pain, sorrow,’ but thanks to many
ANDOVER, Mass. —The parents of a popular Danvers High School teacher who was slain last October allegedly by one of her students released a short video Sunday morning expressing not only their pain and sorrow but thanks to those who have worked to honor their daughter’s memory.
“These past six months have been a period of pain and sorrow for our family and all those who knew and loved Colleen,” said Colleen Ritzer’s mother Peggie. “Each day presents new challenges but we are blessed by the support of family and friends.”
